Description
Bring all you need to drink and eat for our 5 hours of exercise and scenery perusal, plus money for refreshment at The Harp in Old Radnor. Transport back to Kington will be by minibus (covered in price of walk)
A fascinating 9 mile walk starting from RidgeBank gallery in Kington to Stanner Rocks and beyond to finish at The Harp Old Radnor where breathtaking views will remind you immediately of the walk completed. After time for refreshment a minibus will take us back to Kington. This is a fairly strenuous walk of climbs and descents on both well-used and less-used footpaths, with plenty of great scenery in between, to join the hills and woods of this walk and to connect the places we want to visit. My expectation is it will take about 5 hours including two rest and refreshment stops and possibly a surprise visit from a renowned local rare plant specialist who we are hoping will be free to meet us at Stanner Rocks to tell us a little more about this unique environment.
