Description:

Please bring packed lunch and money for bus fares/a bus pass. The walk will finish at the Severn Arms Hotel, Penybont where tea and cake will be served. Price is included in the price of the walk.

We follow a bridleway through Gwernyrargllwydd Farm and continue along paths and bridleways over the open hill Blaen Edw Bank, passing Llanwefr Pool and descending behind Pye Corner. We follow a by-way uphill to Bwlch-Llwyn Bank which we climb, then descend into farmland and follow bridleways, lanes and paths into the village of Penybont where the Severn Arms Hotel will provide tea/coffee and cakes. We shall return on either the 16.15 or the 17.18 bus, arriving back in Kington at either 16.45 or 17.45, depending on the time of our arrival in Penybont.

NB There is a strong chance of encountering cattle on this walk with little or no possibilities of any detour to avoid them.
