Description:

Entries can be made on the day but for all entries you must start between 9:00 and 10:00.

Registration in advance online or between 09.00 and 10.00 in the Place de Marines (opposite the Burton Hotel). Take part either walking or running. Find your own way round using Explorer map 201, either clockwise or anticlockwise. Punch your card with the clipper at the top of each peak plus two mandatory clippers. Your time will be recorded and everyone who collects all 10 punch marks will receive a certificate of completion. The person(s) with the quickest time has their result added to the oak board. All competitors must report back to the Festival Office by 6:00pm whether in person or by phone. Anyone not sticking to the rights of way will be disqualified.

The 8 Peaks are to the north and West of Kington and each gives a different perspective of the amazing views of the area. They range in height from 303 to 426 metres with Kington being at 157m.

The current record time of 2 hours was set in 2022, can this be beaten?

Please ensure you have adequate water and food as well as appropriate clothing for the forecast conditions.

Note that dogs are welcome on this walk. Maximum one dog per adult please and kept on a lead at all times.

This challenge is proudly sponsored by The Walking Hub.
